Cable quailty disappointing!

We have had cable tv for years now. We haven’t upgraded to digital but just the basic cable. Between the basic cable and the internet we pay $110 a month. The picture SUCKS! I guess we kinda just got used to it. Yesterday I decided to hook up a basic antennae to a digital converter and the picture is as clear as a DVD. We get about 10 OTA, over the air channels with a $5 antennae. Unbelievable. With Cable with get about 50 channels but 40 are crap. Religious shows, Spanish shows, info-mercials and home shopping. I am now shopping for a higher quality antenna and will connect it to all the TVs in the house. Oh and BTW, the OTA HD quality is just as good as Digital HD Cable! FOR FREE!!!
