3 hours to change spark plugs???

I remember when changing the spark plugs on a vehicle took about 10 minutes. Sunday I had to change them out on Amanda’s SUV. NOT a 10 minute job! You do not have simple access to the rear plugs you have to remove the entire intake manifold assembly, all the attached hoses, throttle body and a few emissions devices. While I was in there I figured best to change out the PCV Valve as well. That require even more disassembly. Had to get fuel injection rack and wires out of the way along with the plenum. THEN I could change out the PCV. No wonder this is like a $400 job at the Mazda dealer!
