Backyard Movie!

Our backyard movie was a success!!! Amanda and I made our backyard into a little drive, no WALK in movie theatre. We had about 8 people over for the 1st and about 20 more that want to attend the next. We planned it on kinda short notice. We made a giant viewing screen on the wall, had tiki torches, hot dogs and beer. The guests all brought their own lawn chairs and blankets. Between all of the beer that was brought and food, we had tons to fail at consuming all of. Danette brought enough of her, now famous, chicken dip to feed NASHVILLE!!! (lol) It is delicious!! Kris brought movie theatre candy!! What a great addition. We started by grilling up a pile of hot dogs, watching “Family Guy” episodes in the background, and then when the sunset, we watched our first movie. We watched “War”. It was pretty good movie but the temperature, dropped outside. So for the second movie I got out our fire-pit and started a campfire in the middle of the yard. That really helped get through the evening. We will be doing these throughout the summer. We had a fantastic time!
